CAROL KWAN=CLEAN, AFFORDABLE, SAFE DRINKING WATER

As your representative on the West Basin Board during the past twelve years, I am proud of my following accomplishments:
.

• Past-President of West Basin Municipal Water District
• Increased district funding for water conservation education
• Produced West Basin’s first Water Resource Guide to assist the Public
• Started the district’s annual Water Harvest Festival to increase water awareness
• Created the “ Water Squad “ educational program for local school children

My goals for the next four years will focus on drinking water quality and cost reduction.  I will strive to keep West Basin’s costs as low as possible and reduce the cost charged to you by our regional water wholesalers. I will also incorporate the highest possible level of ethics and integrity into my service to the public as a board member.
